The photo seminar at the Arab stud Ismer is one of the most popular seminars, because at the largest private stud in Europe for Arab thoroughbreds, the participants can expect huge herds of beautiful Arab mares with their foals, noble stallions and fascinating motifs in this idyllic stud facility. I have been friends with the Ismer family for many years since I visited there for the first time 35 years ago and was able to photograph the noble stallions for the stud catalog. In the seminar, we dedicate ourselves to a wide range of practical and theoretical topics, such as motion photography, portrait photography, assessment of lighting conditions and the correct handling of horses. But not only the noble Arabian horses are available as models, on a tour of the adjoining zoo we encounter many exotic animals and can capture unique moments with the camera.
