Horses of the Iberian Peninsula
Whether Pura Raza Española, Alter Real or Lusitano, they all have that special something, that magic of a baroque horse: compact elegance and fiery temperament. The unique character and enormous self-confidence of these noble horses is particularly reflected in the wonderfully large eyes. With flowing mane, magnificent tails and spectacular movements, they cast a spell over people. The blood of the Iberian horses runs in the veins of almost every European horse breed.
From the Lipizzaner to the various warmblood breeds, they were all shaped by the Iberians, because they were considered ideal refiners because of their harmonious physique, their rideability and their lively gait. In addition, their people-centered character was also very much appreciated.
